I know Romania is not exactly the easiest country to navigate, and putting a trip together can be quite the challenge. So I’ve done it for you! My self-guided hiking packages will save you weeks (possibly months) of planning, so that you can jump straight into your adventure! All you need to do is put on your hiking boots, choose your travel dates and book your tickets.

⛰️ Support over the phone & WhatsApp before as well as during your trip: schedule a 30-min phone call before your trip to ask any questions you may have. Call or message me during your trip if you need help (finding a bad weather alternative or booking a taxi for instance)
⛰️ I can also take care of reservations for you. This is an extra service (+€)

I’m Janneke aka the Roamaniac. I fell in love with Romania back in 2005 and have been exploring the country ever since. I have hiked thousands of kilometres in Romania’s mountains, mostly solo, and written a guidebook about them: The Mountains of Romania (Cicerone Press, 2020). I live there part of the year, speak the language, know what works and what doesn’t, and have a lot of local contacts.
